Anti – Slavery Policy

“Modern Slavery is the illegal exploitation of people for personal or commercial gain. Victims are trapped in servitude, which they were deceived or coerced into, and feel they cannot leave. It includes human trafficking. Common forms of exploitation include domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, forced marriage, forced criminality, and forced labour.”

Irish and King Dental Practice is committed to preventing modern day slavery and human trafficking within our business including contractors and business partners. We acknowledge our responsibilities under the Modern Slave Act 2015 to work to ensure transparency within our company.

Irish and King Dental Practice recognises that Modern Slavery is a crime and violation of fundamental human rights. Therefore, we will not support or deal with any businesses knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.

We have a whistleblowing policy in place to ensure the protection of all staff and whistle-blowers.

All staff have been trained in the key principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and how to identify and report slavery and human trafficking.

If any employee, contractor, supplier or business partner has a concern about compliance with our policy, they should contact Mr Aidan King. Alternatively, you can contact the Modern Slavery Helpline on: 08000 121700.
